The Prayer of Doubt

Here is the first short Arty film I made for my YouTube channel 'Dark Road Home'. It is called The Prayer of Doubt.
It looks at religion and the effects and thoughts it can have. Does God exist? Does God hear my prayers and is this just a test?
I wrote a poem to go with this movie

The prayer of doubt

There are times at night when I am in despair
I call to you, but are you really there?
Do you hear my prayers o Lord?
Do they not strike the right chord?
Is my life just a test?
Because I sure need to rest!
My heart aches for the truth,
Shall it one day set me free?
I pray this prayer just in case,
Someday you want to show me grace.
As I sit here quiet and still,
My cup seems empty,
but I want my fill.
I want to know who you are,
But you seem so far far.
As yet I do not believe,
Therefore I have only to grieve.
Prove my wrong I protest,
As I say this prayer to confess.
